Update!
WOW does time fly by!
So since the last blog the Castillo family celebrated Jimmy's 23 birthday. Yes that's right 23! Can you believe it? If he were my parents he would be married and getting ready for child number 2! As much as I want nephews and nieces in the future I am so glad I don't right now. He is about 7 months away from graduating so mark your calenders and get ready to PARTY!! The parentials are busy as ever. As they say..."A track parent never stops running." Dad is finally healing from his back injury and of course is out there with the kids everyday running! Got some sad news from the doc... He cant run marathons anymore :( only 10ks. Momma is being momma. Stressing everyday because the house isn't clean, of course we learn how to just stay quiet! She also has started running! I am proud of her, she almost ran a full two miles with me one day at Rebecca's practice, although I got a lot of excuses during it about how she should stop. Zac is doing amazing! I am so proud of him. He is keeping up with the varsity boys and has continued to improve his time every week. He is already talking about taking summer school to get ahead in some math classes but I don't think that is a surprise to anyone. Rebecca is her happy go lucky self. Starting to get that giddy teenage girl thing going on and every once in a while a little attitude is coming out. Don't worry though... No one can be as bad as I was. As for me, oh busy and exhausted as always. Always running around from school to work to school to work. It is finally starting to hit me that I will have my associates degree in two months! Pretty excited about that and I just finished up my application to Anderson Business School. Pray everything goes well it. As for Petey.. He is getting pretty serious about the whole coast guard thing. He meets with his recruiter almost once a week and has already started the practice ASVAB. If all goes as planned he will be off to boot camp by January :( I am actually very excited for him. Hope all is well out there in Good Ol Texas!
Love ya all!

UNM Invite
Zac had his very first high school cross country meet today. As you probably could guess he did absolutely amazing. He had to run JV for his first meet per his coach and really showed his talent. He ran the 5k (3.1 miles) in 17:53. He was about 2 minutes behind the top varsity runner in the country. He came in 9th place. WAY TO GO ZAC!! I think we have a future Olympic athlete on our hands (Yay! Free tickets).
